Savings depend on how much electricity you use, when you use it, and how much usable roof or ground space you have. A commercial client running heavy daytime load usually sees the largest reduction, because solar output lines up with the hours the business is drawing the most power.
We do not quote a percentage before we look at your bills. The first step is an energy assessment where we review twelve months of usage and model what a system would offset on your specific property. That assessment is free.
A residential rooftop system is typically a matter of days on site once the design is approved and equipment is in hand. Commercial and industrial systems run longer and are scheduled in phases so your operations keep running.
The honest answer is that the site work is rarely the long part. Permitting, utility approval, and equipment shipping into The Bahamas usually set the timeline, and we give you a realistic schedule in your proposal rather than an optimistic one.
Panels alone lower your bill during daylight hours. They do not keep your lights on when the grid goes down, because a grid tied system without storage shuts off during an outage for the safety of line workers.
If your priority is bill reduction, panels may be enough. If you need your building to keep running through an outage, you need storage. We will tell you which one your situation actually calls for.
Only if it includes battery storage and is configured for backup. A properly designed solar plus storage system detects the outage, disconnects from the grid, and continues running the loads you nominated as critical.
